Works on Paper

These are small works of acrylic inks on yupo paper. Yupo is a synthetic non-porous paper so the medium isn't absorbed like regular watercolour paper. It.just sits on top. These are my experimental paintings. I seldom use a brush, using the eye dropper from the ink container and 91% rubbing alcohol as a resist. I love to see what happens as the color spreads. I use other tools like Qtips or sticks to make marks and manipulate the inks. It's kindergarten time without the sharing!
